CYRUS GENÈVE unveils the new KLEPCYS DICE LIME, Double Independent Chronograph, at Watches and Wonders in Geneva
Watches and Wonders, the prestigious high-end watchmaking Show in Geneva, which Cyrus Genève attended for the first time from March 30th to April 5th 2022, has just ended. Cyrus Genève, which exhibited in the Carré des Horlogers, along with 14 other independent watch brands, presented on this occasion a new version of its Double Independent Monopusher Chronograph KLEPCYS DICE which, for 2022, sees a new take in green and yellow: KLEPCYS DICE LIME is born!
Very well received by customers and media, the new KLEPCYS DICE LIME comes in two versions, crafted from natural grade 5 titanium with a polished/satin finish, or a black DLC treatment. Just 10 pieces are available for each version. Given the amount of space occupied by the unusual calibre, with two mainplates and as many chronographic modules, the size is actually limited, with a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 16.5 mm. The thinner bezel has been slightly adjusted to make more room for the dial and enhance legibility. Titanium is a hard-wearing, extremely lightweight material that makes this model, waterproof to 10 ATM, extremely comfortable to wear.
The functions of the new KLEPCYS DICE LIME make it a one-off in the vast landscape of contemporary watchmaking. Like its predecessor released in Summer 2021, it is equipped with two independent monopusher chronographs for measuring two short intervals of time independently or in synchrony, all housed in a single self-winding mechanical movement. This calibre CYR718 has been developed by Jean-François Mojon, one of the twenty-first century’s greatest watchmakers and the creative mastermind behind CYRUS Genève collections since the foundation of the brand. This unprecedented, complex movement is his brainchild, and it is ushering in a new generation of chronographs.
